Production and customization
Angst+Pfister’s global production platform spans across 15 countries. In addition to our own state-of-the-art production capabilities we have reserved capacity with internationally renowned manufacturing partners. This allows us to always select the best solution based on the quality, quantity and delivery requirements of our customers.
Especially for injection and compression molding, we have highly developed production facilities that offer:
- State-of-the-art horizontal and vertical injection presses
- Cold runner technology
- Fully integrated quality control laboratory
- Mold design to simulate injection, compound distribution and vulcanization
- Quality and environmental certifications: IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015
- Products with several critical approvals for the process, food & beverage, pharmaceutical and Medtech, oil & gas, railway, agricultural & construction machinery and automotive industries
Design and manufacturing of metal forming and rubber vulcanization molds, as well as fixtures required during manufacturing are carried out within our all-compassing production process.
From tool-design, to metal surface preparation and forming, to vulcanization and compounding

Machined seals
Thanks to state-of-the-art automatic lathes and milling machines, seals can be produced quickly and efficiently. These machines have up to 3 differently driven axes. By using placement robots, even large series can be produced cost-efficiently. Seals made of thermoplastics such as PEEK, PI, PE or PTFE can be produced in our own factories in Denmark and Switzerland.
Injection molding
Our high-speed rubber injection presses, ranging from 200 to 450 tons, come with additional equipment such as central ejectors and brushes with air blowing systems, and allow for a fully automatic demolding process. The automated parts removing system ensure that the machines are more efficient and can work in continuous shifts.
Angst+Pfister also offers state-of-the-art cold runner technology. By using bigger molds with more cavities more pieces can be produced during the same cycle time, and more rubber material can be saved by using short or no runners within the cold-runner mold.
Automatic visual inspection
Automatic visual inspection machines are able to visually check the quality of o-rings and other seals at highest speeds. The dimension, form, external surface and planarity are all inspected. An informative screen is associated with each control station so that the rate of rejects and acceptable parts, sorted by type, can be monitored. At any time, a full quality report can be obtained or submitted to statistical calculations.
Post-curing
To reach their best mechanical properties some elastomeric materials will be heated up again after the vulcanization in the mold. This is usually done in furnaces where the defined temperature/time cycles are monitored and recorded to ensure proper post-curing of the finished parts.
